Wow. They are,all here. Not the best set out or edited book but great recipes. I was reading the recipe bran refrigerator muffins and came accross the line, store leftovers in cheese puffs. A bit of editing would do wonders but might take away some of the magic. Now when I read it I feel like it was written by a well loved aunt and we have a few in-jokes that follow us through th he book. Bread should make friends from strangers and I really think this book can manage tat. I love it and will read it again and again.The recipes use simple ingredients and are easy to follow as long as the reader has a little common sense. I'm going to get my niece to read this and start my own family tradition.
Long may family traditions everywhere be recreated.

I have made some of these recipes, and they have been awesome. I love the smell that homemade bread gives the home. If I had the time,I would make fresh bread every day!
There are several quick bread and yeast bread recipes to choose from. I will be trying most all of them as I have been baking the every day variety.
I want to incorporate "healthy" into my bread making. There are several in this book.
I use a sourdough starter and would like to see that included in more bread books. That's the only thing missing from this collection of great recipes.
I am not a huge fan as some recipes just don't turn out right and I am uncertain whether there are misprints.
The bulk of the books recipes are for quick breads. A few I might want to try. The recipes seem to more helpful for experienced cooks. If you haven't made quick bread or yeast breads you might not get the results you would expect.I think it is best to assume that your readers know nothing and are trying to learn. I learned to cook from books that started from step one or explained what to look for.
Easy and delicious. I have made a lot of yeast and quick bread in my years so I am always looking for something either I haven't tried or a recipe that looks easy to make. I came away from this book with about nine recipes that were attractive because of the ease or simple ingredients. Today I made the applesauce muffins and they were everything I love in a muffin. They were quick to make, made with ingredients that I had, they had just the right sweetness, and were moist and healthy tasting. Did I say they were delicious? My only critique was that I did not know how many muffins the recipes would make but that did not hold me up too much.
I LOVE this book. I have looked for YEARS for a book that combined both hand made and machine made bread recipes under one cover.. I FINALLY found it! This is so awesome! I love making and eating homemade bread, but I looked and looked for a single book that had both types of recipes. There are so many books covering both kinds of bread--handmade and machine-made-- but I never found one under one cover. This is so convenient! I HIGHLY recommend this book. BTW, the recipes are FANTASTIC!!!!!
This is a very comprehensive collection for not only breads, but also a variety of buns, muffins, stuffing,scones...really something for everyone here.
Some that appealed to me in particular were
Italian Wine Biscuits
Banana Crumb Muffins
Cherry Breakfast Bread
Rhubarb Bread (note to author, you have a typo on this one and have it spelled rhubard)
and many more.
I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 as a number of the sweet recipes contain a LOT of sugar, for eg
for 2 loaves of Zucchini Bread, it requires 3 cups of sugar.
for bran refrigerator muffins, also 3 cups of sugar (the yield is not given for this one but I'm guessing about 20 large muffins)
This is an easy fix and I would cut the sugar by at least half in both of these and some others that sounded excessive in this regard.
I will be keeping this one on my kindle for future reference and I'm glad I downloaded it! -)
