Samantha is engaged to a lawyer for a drug dealer. She is being surveilled by two cops. One day she finds out her fiancée is cheating on her. She races out of the house only to be pulled over in a bikini. From there most of the book is physical until the climax (possible pun intended). *** They pat her down with some groping. The next time they see her they have sex. Then she is kidnapped by the drug lord. After they rescue her, more sex.
M: Heck if I know, they don’t exchange more than 2 sentences before they are ‘in love’. Apparently they fell in love while watching her (sometimes in the shower) on surveillance tapes.
F: Heck if I know. The only personality trait we have is that she likes being dominated and called a slut.
Instalove: Yes. They are in love before any words are exchanged. Also Instalust.
POV: Alternate F/M third person.
Pace: Fine, I skimmed some bits but that is not because the plot is slow. It is because there was no plot.
Pursuer: The men pursued.
Separation: No.
Violence/Dark: Kidnapping, some gun play.
OM/OW Drama: No. They men tried to go to a bar to pick up a OW that looks like F, before actually talking to her.
Hot: Not hugely original. The author’s vocabulary is limited and anatomical male parts are described as big c**ks a great many times. *** Ana1. Dom/Sub. Multiple M/F/M Though I am under the impression there is a right D/S and a wrong. While D/S can seem like women who like being controlled, possessed or ‘owned’ that isn’t what it really is. D/S, when done correctly by authors, is about trust, support and ethical intimacy. When done poorly, it is about women getting off other people telling them what to do. It is not done well here. ***
Humor: Nope.

These 3 short stories are absolutely fun and well worth the read - They have all the necessary ingredients to keep you reading, sex, drama, more sex and lots and lots of emotional connections!! Yes, they are sexy - very, very sexy - explicit sex.. but it is done well - there are of course dramatic moments, and the last two stories meet up in the third - love when that happens!!
This book was a good quick spicy read. There were some minor editing issues but overall a pretty good read.
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced readers copy of Flirting with the law. I absolutely love Madison Faye and books like this are why. The book was sexy and thrilling. Once i started I couldn't put it down I was hooked. The characters were hot and had amazing chemistry. I believe this is an absolute must read that you won't want to miss out on.
This was pretty much the same story with the names changed and a third man added in the third story. She was careful about changing the names though when she did the cut and paste. Also, for the love of the grammar and spelling gods the word is spelled p-a-i-d! Not pay with an ed on the end! I think that word was on my kids spelling list in second grade!
I could'nt put it down. If your interested in a steaming hot, easy to read, MFM romace, then this is the perfect book for you.
A captivating story about Samantha, who after realizing her fiancé Tim is having an affair, get pulled over by Bake and Dustin, two obsessed alpha cops. Why does these guys already know Samantha and what's the real story behind Tims indiscretion?
This is the first book I've read by this author, however, it won't be the last. I had a slew of her books on my kindle and each one was added to my TBR list, but the chaos of the holidays kept me from actually getting to read as much as I wanted to. So now that the madness is over, I decided to sit down and get to those books I've been waiting so impatiently to read and the first one I came to was Flirting With The Law, so crossing my fingers and hoping that it was as good as I anticipated I began to read.
And read, and read.
Holy hell, this was one hot, well written, make me forget I'm currently fighting off a case of bronchitis story.
Wow, whats a girl to say after reading Flirting With The Law.
Madison Faye you are my hero twice, three and even four times.
Nothing is better than a hot steamy instant attraction between a female and two alpha male.
Love it, definitely leaves me wanting more.
